Outcome of Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery with Low Preoperative Ejection Fraction: A Cross-sectional study

چکیده
Background: Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery has been proven in several trials to have excellent outcomes patients with coronary disease who reasonably preserved cardiac function. Nonetheless, determining the value of grafting low left ventricular ejection faction (shown as fraction 40B) challenging due worries about increased operating mortality and decreased long-term survival.
Objective: Our main goal is evaluate Outcome Artery Bypass Graft Surgery Low Preoperative Ejection Fraction.
Methods: This cross-sectional study carried out at tertiary hospital from June 2021 2022. Where 100 underwent Department Cardiac were included study. The divided into 2 groups follows: Group—I, EF < 40% (n = 50) Group-ll EF>40% 50).
Results: During study, where 55% belong 50-60 years age group majority male. In both had diabetes hypertension. All co—morbidities/risk factors almost equally distributed between (p > 0,05). Except incidence bleeding, which was significantly higher Croup—I than that Group—II 0.01 0). addition that, 1 Heart failure seen 1.5% cases followed by 2.3% pneumonia, prolonged ventilation 13.5%. 0.5% 1.8% 11%.
Conclusion: Lastly, current study's large sample size suggests CABG may be performed on <40% (in terms morbidity death) are equivalent those 40.

متن کاملEffects of Seasonal Variations on the Outcome of Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery
Background: For all the reports on the association between seasons and coronary artery disease, there is a paucity of information on the possible effects of seasonal variations on the outcome of patients after coronary artery bypass grafting surgery (CABG). The aim of this study was to assess the short-term outcome of post-CABG patients in the four different seasons to find any correlation betw...

Background—Patients with low ejection fraction (EF) are at a higher risk for postoperative complications and mortality. Our objective was to assess the effect of low EF on clinical outcomes after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Methods and Results—We analyzed 55,515 patients from New York State database who underwent CABG between 1997 and 1999. Patients were stratified into 1 of the 4 E...
متن کاملCoronary artery bypass grafting in patients with low ejection fraction.
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) has been widely used for the treatment of patients with coronary artery disease. Patients with low ejection fraction (EF) are at a higher risk for postoperative complications and mortality. Our objective was to assess the effect of low EF on clinical outcomes of CABG. We analyzed 1156 patients, who have undergone CABG in our department between 2002 - 2009 ...
متن کاملA randomized trial of coronary artery bypass surgery. Survival of patients with a low ejection fraction.
The Coronary Artery Surgery Study (CASS) was designed to compare medical and surgical treatment of selected patients with chronic, stable coronary artery disease. This report concerns a subset of patients with reduced ventricular function. Of 780 patients randomly assigned to medical or surgical treatment, 160 had ejection fractions above 0.34 but below 0.50 at base line and have been followed ...
